Tianyuan was founded in 2012. The yearly figures recorded in our Milestones section show a clear path of growing capacity and scale.
Getting started: 2012–2014
In 2012 we produced 1,800 tons with 40 employees on a 3,000 m² site. In 2013 output rose to 2,700 tons and the site grew to 7,000 m². In 2014 output reached 4,600 tons.
Expansion: 2015
2015 was the year of the big step up: output reached 8,000 tons, the team grew to 152 people and the site expanded to 26,000 m², laying the capacity base we have run on since.
Steady operation: 2016–2020
From 2016 to 2020 we produced steadily on the 26,000 m² site. Output rose from 7,000 tons to 8,400 tons in 2020, while the team stayed at around 90 to 100 people, so output per employee kept rising.
Today our average annual output is about 9,000 tons, with more than 100 employees. The full year-by-year figures are in About → Milestones on our website.
